The concept of a Muslim Village

Sheikh Imran Hosein's idea of a self-sustainable eco-village as a vision is to share a common purpose with strong individuals who are passionate about working the land and being in tune with the environment around & this could be a way to most importantly preserve Imaan & Deen of self & families in the times of corrupt & materialistic rule.

Sheikh's vision that we can share resources, horsepower, manpower and knowledge, and become self-sufficient through productive partnership where each member will specialise in their own area of interest and work for profit and/or trade through sunnah-money.

For example someone could be profiting from growing sunflowers and pressing oil, while others could be focusing on cheese making or organic vegetables.

Long term goal would be to market our products to nearest towns and to partner up with other farms in the region for better economy. Subhan'Allah, the sky is the limit in terms of what could be accomplished in a place where people are passionate about sustaining the village collectively.

But one must also take into account the legality and political issues & we may need to figure out the best approach to land rights and long term security.
